Popular culture has seen many examples of mash-up words (or ‘portmanteaus’, as the scholars among us prefer to call them). Floordrobes, screenagers, glamping, bootilicious, to name a few. So when Nickelodeon asked us to develop their new TMNT Mash-Up Seasonal Guide, we only had one word: thamazing (thanks & amazing). We created a number of high-energy and humorous graphic directions that gave their licensees a gnarly range of designs to work with for Spring & Summer 2016.
“We asked analogue to create a TMNT Mash-Up guide for the Nickelodeon SS16 Seasonal Guides and the result was an amazing four-part techniques guide. Good versus Evil played out in four very diverse sections: Ripped, Overlay, Silhouette and Graffiti giving our partners and licensees more creative choices for a huge variety of multiple category products.
