Future Château
Tasked with harnessing the ritual and love of a great glass of wine and bring it into a modern, sessionable format. The challenge was to stay true to the heritage and DNA of a classic vineyard while creating a bold, clear, and future-facing brand that stands out on the shelf and meets the demands of premium wine packaging.
The intended audience love wine, but the reality is that life is heavy enough without the baggage of a midweek hangover. Future Château is built for the person who wants the ritual of a great glass of wine but needs to stay sharp.
Instead of the usual low-alcohol alternatives that feel like a compromise. Future Château is made not manufactured, using premium grapes and traditional winemaking to ensure full flavour and fewer calories. It’s a sessionable wine designed for long sunny afternoons or a well-earned Monday triumph.
A bottle with enough presence to sit comfortably next to classic wines in high-end restaurants, while still feeling right at home in a bar or in your kitchen. To achieve this, we combined a traditional etching-style illustration of a futuristic château with a deliberate clash of fonts in the brand mark. We then layered in iridescent labels and embossed gloss printing to add a tactile, futuristic finish. It’s a fusion of old world soul and new world technique. The result, a bottle that looks as bold as the idea behind it.
Since the launch, Future Château has found its home on the shelves at Selfridges and is already picking up some incredible momentum in the press. It’s been featured in Vogue, Glassette, and SheerLuxe, with the feedback confirming that people are ready for a wine that looks as good as it tastes.
