Sprite partnered with Unrivaled, the fast-paced 3-on-3 women’s basketball league founded by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, to celebrate the explosive rise of women’s basketball and the new generation of athletes shaping its future.
Women’s sport is experiencing a cultural shift. What was once overlooked is now one of the most exciting and fastest-growing spaces in sport, driven by athletes who are redefining visibility, fandom, and the business of the game. Unrivaled was built to push that momentum even further, creating a new off-season league designed around player empowerment, faster gameplay, and a fan-first experience.
To celebrate the partnership, Sprite asked us to create a limited-edition campaign and collectable packaging series designed to capture that energy. At the centre of the launch were two collectible cans and matching multipacks, each featuring four of the league’s standout players. Shot specifically for the project, the athletes appear in striking black-and-white in-game photography, framed by the Unrivaled crest set into the can’s silver substrate. The basketball pops in the league’s signature electric blue, a flash of motion and intensity against the monochrome backdrop. Each player’s signature was also integrated into the design, adding an extra layer of authenticity and collectability for fans.
Beyond packaging, we developed high-energy motion graphics used across arena screens and live activations, amplifying the collaboration throughout the league’s game-day environment and bringing the campaign into the heart of the live experience.
The release has been embraced by fans and players alike, helping cement Sprite’s partnership with Unrivaled while amplifying a league designed to give women athletes a bigger stage, greater visibility, and more control over their game. Because men’s sport is about defending legacy… Women’s sport is about building the future.
